Help Search?

I'd like to Search the phone for email or text content, not just web content. What's the best way to do that?

Click the search bar atop your screen. Then hit the 3 dot menu in top right corner. Go to settings. Then go to searchable items and check what you would like.

That's a big help, only i'm not seeing email as a searchable option. Any thoughts?

Plus, it's still taking me to Google search - I only want to search email and messaging.

My search messaging (contact and sms conversations content as well) works great! I don't see the email option though. Sorry. Maybe there is a 3rd party app that could do that for you.
