Is there a better way to search for an app other than scrolling through the apps store?

I usually tap the magnifying glass in the top right and type in whatever im looking for an app to do doesn't have to be an exact app name. Like I wanted to see battery widgets so i typed that into the search box and a bunch came up.

I've been using the Boolean operators [ - (not) . (and) | (or) ] to help narrow down searches. It helps when you have a good idea what you're looking for.
