Well we need a bit more information than its just not working. First which Navigation System are you using? Are you on the latest version of that program and what ROM release are you on? Did you update the PRL? After a PRL update did you update "Profile" I am assuming the phone is not rooted but i dont like to assume so I'll ask is the Phone Rooted? Have you checked for firmware updates?

Is GPS the only thing not working? Does the phone show the GPS Icon in the status bar? How old is the phone and have you dropped it?

My old EVO had this problem. It would lock on the satellites for about 5 minutes then loose lock consistently. The people at the local sprint store told me it had to do with the local cell tower being down. They couldn't have been more wrong. I had this problem all around Sothern Cal and for months, even after I got GB.

Well, long story short, they replaced my phone with a new one and no more "Searching for GPS". I got it for $35 (I don't have insurance but was inside the 1 year mfr warranty). I should have gotten a refurb but got a brand new one because the refurbs were on back order.

I have the same problem. Took it to the Sprint sort, they also said it was the towers and reset something. Still doesn't work. I had rooted my phone, last year, and then unrooted it to get my updates. The problem started after I unrooted the phone.

Hello and welcome to the forums!! :D:D

First of all, you never want to unroot the phone in order to get an update. All you need to do is flash the updated rooted ROM and you are good to go.

A few questions:
The phone is currently UNROOTED, correct?
Have you tried updating your PRL and profile?

I hope the device is still rooted, as its much easier to fix issues like this when it is
