I have a fault on my phone and was told by my network provider that i have to take the phone to my nearest store to have it checked out.

But by giving them my phone they have access to all my emails, sms and notes, is there any way of securing this data but still allowing them access to repair my phone?

The thing is, they may have to reflash it with an RUU and wipe your data anyway.

Why not just backup what you can with Mybackup then factory reset it before you send to them?
