    Wifi tethering with BB.9...

I've read around and done a couple searches but actually couldn't find the simple answer.

What can and can't I do with my phone while tethering?

Thanks and sorry for the obvious question.

I haven't noticed it actually prohibiting anything while I have WiFi tethering turned on. Pretty sure everything still works, though I haven't officially tested it.

What I have read is avoid anything extremely byte intensive as your carrier (I won't mention Verizon by name) can be alerted of your activity. I read accounts of people getting warnings and others losing service after transfering large amounts of data. I am sure sufing the Web is fine but would keep an eye on the size and frequency of file transfers.

    is a smokey place.
Talking on the phone and browsing the internet on a computer using the phone for wifi tether at the same time are no go. Once the call is made... or received 3g cuts out... no more internet.
