I plan on trading my phone...online. I have a buyer intrested. What do you guys recommend for a safe transaction? I'm trading my phone plus money for his phone.

He recommended I send him money via paypal..and he will ship his phone. Once I recieve his phone, then I ship my phone.... thoughts?

If I send him money via paypal, and his phone never shows (or the ESN is not clear)..am I able to retract my money sent on paypal..... b/c it was a fraud?

Thanks for any info / input.

I sold mine back to verizon for $132.
You can do it here Verizon Trade In

Much safer than selling it to an individual. They send you one of those pre-paid cards when they get your phone.

Combining this with my one year discount, I was able to dump my eris and go to a droid X for $68.

Do they send you a Verizon prepaid card, or a VISA-like pre-paid card?

You get a Verizon Wireless gift card like you do when you get a rebate. So you can only use it at Verizon. OK for me since I'm sticking with them and will just apply it to my bill.
