I'm probably gonna sell mine as well I'm really happy with my Jbuds J4s ... I did a quick google search and came up with that they sell for around $100 new so I'm probably gonna try to get at least $60 for them

I've already told someone that I'd give them some brand new in the box Klipsch S4s for their beats earphones and $20 but they didn't reply. I'd say it's a good deal considering the S4s are still in the box and the beats are opened. :D

Anybody think about trying to sell the headphones?

I googled them and the ones I saw are pretty expensive.

Are these the same type or a cheaper type to be packaged with phone?

I'm thinking about selling mine. They retail for 100bucks online I think. They're the iBeats.

You know I just took those things out of the box (to see what the logo looks like) and those little bastards are kind of heavy, much heavier than my S4s and Sonys.

I put this in another thread, but I was actually surprised by them. They weren't near as bad as I feared. When listening to something like techno or something that's supposed to be bass heavy, they really shine. But even playing stuff like Pink Floyd, The Who, Audioslave, AC/DC, or even Stone Sour or Theory of a Deadman, the detail was pretty good. Acoustic guitars & vocals sounded very good IMHO. I usually enhance the bass a little anyway on PowerAmp. While it was a bit more pronounced on the iBeats when using the Beats enhacement, listening to them using PA I only had to adjust down the bass/midbass slightly for them to sound near to my S2 Klipsch's.

The real benefit for them over the S2's is they are more comfortable for my ears than the Klipsch's are. The iBeats tips seem to collapse more than the S2's do. So after listening to then for awhile, I don't get the feeling that someone just jammed a couple Sharpies in my ears, even using the smallest S2 tips supplied. While the S2's are somewhat more accurate, the comfort factor does make a difference to me. I imagine I'll keep them of for nothing more than an extra set. But with a little tweaking to PA's EQ, I may be able to get them to sound similar enough to my S2's to make them my primary set.

So anyone use these for running? How well do they stay seated?

As a guy who runs a lot (triathlon/marathon training year round) I primarily use my headphones while running. It's hard to find a set that stays seated in your ear for two hours when doing a decent run...

I recently bought some Sennheiser MX 680s but they were defective. Seemed like they had good "stay put" potential...anyone have a review on the iBeats for runners?

great question. I think i must have goofy ears because it is hard for me to find a set of buds that stay in no matter which tip i put on them. I have some skull candy's that aren't too bad but they could be better.

I tried the iBeats out the other day on a 3 mile treadmill run and I had them fall out about 4 or 5 times . I also have a hard time finding a set of ear buds that stay put the only ones that never fall out are some $8 ebay buds I bought they never fall out but they sound pretty awful

I think the main issue with some falling out and others not is that everyone has different size ear canals. Like I said, my S2's are too big for my ears, even using the smallest tips they supplied. The iBeats smallest tips seat better for me, mainly because they seem to collapse more than my S2's do. So I end up with a better seal then I can get with my S2's (unless I really push them in there, and I pay for it later). It'll be different for everyone.

I really doubt these will stay in while working out. They are heavy with no loops. I actually do like the ear buds a lot. I was planning on selling them, but I am keeping them. I also just purchased another pair for working out...sennhierser's as well, hope mine are worth it. The buds with the phone are much better than I thought...but I don't see how they will stay in with any type of moderate or more workout.

I switched between these and my S4s and the first thing I need to do is this, Rushmore, I hereby retract my offer of $20 and your beats for my pair of new S4s. Now where was I, I plugged the Beats into my MP3 player and I will admit that the bass has a tiny bit more "OOMPH" to it, but that's all I noticed. The S4s didn't have as much bass and the extra bass coming out of the Beats was empty in comparison to the S4s. The Beats just felt as if they were engineered by someone that just wanted a louder thump but it wasn't even a clean thump. I guess the best way to describe it is the difference between any run of the mill stereo that has high wattage, vs something like a Yamaha or an Onkyo that may not run as loud, but sounds cleaner at higher volumes. I listened to a song 2x with each headphones on at the same volume and the Beats just didn't compare. Hell they didn't even compare to a pair of old Sony's I have. My question then for Monster is what were they thinking? Either the Beats earphones they packaged with this phone are their bottom rung earphones and thus they don't care about how people perceive their brand, or these things are typically what you'd expect from the Monster brand in which case, just like their A/V cables they're vastly overrated. I think the only 2 reasons I'll go ahead and keep them are because of the controls on the cord and because they actually look kind of cool.
