how can i send an entire folder of text messages to my email address from a droid (motorola)
A "folder" is something that exists in the minds of people - it has no real existence. You can send all the messages to your email by sharing each message (as long as your fingers hold out) or you could use an app like SMS Backup+ to save all your messages as one large xml file, email that, then either learn how to ignore the xml headers, write a program to strip them off or sit in Word, editing all the headers out.
In the KitKat messaging app (available in the Play store) you can copy each balloon and paste into a document, then email the whole document to yourself.
Okay, you forced me to look it up. There's an app, SMS to Email that will let you email individual messages or whole threads. I usually don't recommend paid apps, but this one's only 99 cents.
