I just got my unbranded Hero upgraded to Android 2.1. I love it.
I'm curious though, about HTC's "SENSE" skin. How do you feel about Sense in 2.1 vs. Sense in 1.5??? Do you miss the old Sense? Do you like the new one better? Does the "more colorful / cartoonish"-thing in the new Sense doing it for you?
I like the new Sense, it makes my phone feel "fresh". Having said that though, I also have to say that the more sober skin of the former firmware had grown on me quite well, and I'm ambivalent in regards of which "look" I like more (I'm strictly talking about looks only, so don't consider the functionality aspect of it, which of course, the new firmware wins hands down).
So what do you guys think? new sense or old sense?
