    Hi

I've noticed I've got a few emails in my sent items and trash folder.. will these automatically delete or do I have to manually do it?

    Thanks

I'm not familiar with the stock app myself, but if they are also on your webmail server (as in on the internet) in these folders, then they will be dealt with as normal. The emails should only go back as far as you have set it in the mail app, so emails older than that would eventually leave the phone. I think...

    Thanks for the reply.

I'll wait and see if the deleted items are automatically removed over time. I'm not sure that sent items are stored on my mail (pop3) server but hopefully they will also be removed over time.

I know there are better mail apps for the Desire.. but it took me long enough to set up the stock app with all the server details so I don't want to have to go over it all again.
