Service outages?

Anyone else having service issues? I've had no signal since about noon. Can't call Boost since no other phone. Tried emailing but no response yet.

It may be a localized outage. Sprint & Boost had an outage in my area in August and a long one in Hawaii in September.

If that is the case I hope they fix it quickly. I have been with Boost since the i776 but I count on my phone for business and will not hesitate to switch companies. Just got this dang S3 a couple months ago and hate to part with it though.

Yeah, I know that feeling... After it happened here in August I realized I need a second line on AT&T or such.

I lost service for over a week last year when they upgraded the tower by my house to 4G. I ended up picking up a magic jack so I could at least have a home phone if and when this happens again.

Do you have Facebook? That respond relatively quickly if you post a question to their Facebook wall.

They just tell everyone to email BSTSocialCare@sprint.com
They ended up getting back to me and telling me less than I had already found out from Sprint themselves. We had three towers down here. They are prepping those particular three to recieve LTE service sometime in the next 90 days.

A back up isn't too much trouble for me because I am a PagePlus dealer anyways. The problem is I made the mistake of using my direct Boost number for business purposes when I should have used a Google Voice number so that I could use a back up phone without informing clients of a number change.

Everybody should have an app called GrooVe IP Lite. It uses a WiFi connection and google voice account to make and receive phone calls. No cell service is necessary only WiFi.

Their entire network is being upgraded right now - if you live in an area currently being worked on you might have some outages for a week or so until they get the new equipment up.
