i am running bb v0.4 with chevy ulowv-1.1 ghz.

short bench: 178 lower is faster

long bench: 500 ms lower is faster

stress test runs forever. no errors

im a little confused about these results.
    are they acceptable,good horrible?

Your benchmarks are good. To give you a comparrison, I'm running a 1.2Ghz kernel. My short bench is 182 and my long bench is usually around 505 (although I did just get a 499). I'm not too familiar with the stress test. But I believe if nothing happens after about 15 minutes then your phone is fine.

ok so i'm pretty happy with my current setup. im still running bb v0.4, but i now use chevys medv-1.2ghz kernel. my short benchmark stays in 160's. my long bench runs in 460's. my mflops varies from 17.6 to 18.8. that one im not to sure about though. is this avg?

Your mflops are also good. I'm in the same ballpark as your scores.

Regardless of benchmark scores, if the phone feels fast and stable to you, that's all that really matters.

Does a higher clock speed have a chance draining the battery quicker than a lower clock speed?? In other words, does a 1.2ghz consume more battery than a 1.0 Ghz speed?? Im just confused and not sure why would anyone run a 1.2ghz comapred to a 1.ghz since the feels smooth with either of them. :)
