I am new to EVO SHIFT. I have enjoyed phone for the brief time I have had it.
    My question is as follows:
How do I set keyboard shortkuts to launch applications (using the hard keyboard)?
I see that one can go Menu,Settings,Applications, then Quick launch.
Once I get into the Quick launch menu - where it list letters of alphabet, i can not figure out how to assign a shortcut to a corresponding letter of the alphabet. I have tried alot of differnt things. I know I am missing something obvious. I searched this and other forums, but have not been able to find any answer.
    Your help is appreciated.
    thank you.

I could be wrong, but that does not seem to be an option on the EVO or Shift. I know it is with Blackberry and the older Palm Treo's, but I have no knowledge of that being possible for any Android OS phone.

26.2, in the quick launch menu, press the on-screen letter to which you want to assign a shortcut. The screen will transition to a black screen with "quick launch" at the top. Wait a few seconds as it loads all available apps and then select your app.
