Help Setting Up "AutoFill" When Dialing A Phone Number

In my HTC Incredible the phone would "suggest" possible numbers I was trying to dial as I typed in each number. This was based on a combination of previous usage as well as contacts and I found it very useful. With the GNex you have to type in the whole phone number even if it's a number you've called numerous times in the past. Is there any way to set the phone dialer to "suggest" possible numbers based on the first few numbers inputted?

Doesnt seem to be a way to do that. I just went to settings and looked....

Replace your dialer with TouchPal Dialer - it's a free app and will auto fill for you. It actually recognizes ANY part of a phone number OR NAME. It's fantastic!

Set it as default and your GTG

Or root and flash a new ROM Several ROMs have the T9 dialing feature built in to the ICS dialer (which I love!) like you're so used to with Sense.
