Setting up security pattern?

    What if you forget what it is? lol.

    Thats why I have never set one up yet.......

    So what do you do to remember it? (Write it down oviously) but dont you have to put it in the exact same way everytime?

    If you fail to enter the lock patter correctly five time in a row, it locks you out for 30 seconds and each time gets longer and longer. However, when this happens the first time, a new button appears next to the emergency dialer button. This button says "forgot pattern?". You can then enter your gmail user name and password to reset your lock patter and ultimately unlock your phone.

    Try it, it really does work. In fact, I just did it now to help remember all of what I just said.

    lol, yeah i need to write down my gmail user name.... lol.

    I set it up so fast b/c i was anxious to get started with android i did not put a lot of thought into it.

    -Edit I use comcast as my default email.........
