    Hello, welcome to the forums.

I've had a quick look and I can't find a device called the Android Iconic, does it go by another name?

    Welcome to the AndroidForums, TStevenson.

You can download and install the app, "My Phone Info" (free in the Market) and it will tell you your "Device ID" (second line of display) which I think is what you are looking for (although this matches what is displayed in the Settings -> About phone -> Status "MEID" value).

This information is also usually underneath the battery (at least it is on both of the Android phones that I own).

I should mention that there is another "serial number" associated with your device that you can determine from a program like "Android Terminal Emulator" (also free in the Market). After launching the terminal emulator, type "getprop ro.serialno" (without the quotes, of course) and it will display the device's serial number (without having to do a battery-pull).

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers!
