    I never knew about the boot animation and install utility that was mentioned at the thread. A really useful tool and runs great. Here it is:

    BTW - Is there a way to UNDERCLOCK the Droid at bootup to keep this animation running longer :eek: ??? I think I'm in love :p

    She has a big block up front and no junk in the trunk, and she is probably real fast - just like a race car :)

    can someone give me a quick walk through how to load this....i've went to xda and downloaded the program but i'm at a loss on how to set it up. Thanks

    You rename the zip file bootanimation.zip and move it to /system/media folder to replace the bootanimation.zip already contained in that folder. Definitely back-up the original just in case you ever want/need to go back
