SG3 to Android 4.3

An Android update was pushed to my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone this morning, and I am assuming it is Android 4.3. Sprint is now rolling it out so I was expecting it. However, after the update was complete the version number stills reads Android 4.1.2. How is that?
