Help SGS2 - Move apps from 'device memory' to 'usb storage'?

Hey everyone,

Currently, my applications are installing from the Play Store into my phone's "Device Memory" which only has about 1.8GB of space.

I want my apps to be installed in my phone's "USB Storage" which has 11GB of free space, but I can't seem to find any way to do so.

I've looked everywhere for a answer but I seem to be drawing up blanks. Someone mentioned rooting, and that by rooting my phone, I can choose to re-direct where my apps install.

Question is: If I root my device, would I be able to re-direct where my apps are installed? In this case, my phone's "USB Storage?"

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2.

Please, any help would be great!
