SGS2 says downloading do not turn off target what do i do?

Hi I have a Samsung galaxy S2 and it died earlier on, so I plugged it into the charger and it was being really strange like kept flashing between apps and opening the voice command. I then removed the battery and when it turned back on it has the android and downloading do not turn off target!!! It says factory mode in the top left hand corner, im too scared to do anything like remove the battery or press any buttons, but its been like this for about an hour and a half. Any suggestions? Help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you go into download mode accidentally?
Try rebooting again. Nothing bad will happen.
