My only complaint is that it's not as "smooth" as the 4.0.4 that it was running before, but I guess we'll have to work with these bugs until the official update

Yeah, seems a little harsh that your phone would get bricked. Just pull the battery and play around with flashing the ROM, it happened to me the first time but I got it working fine. Maybe someone here can help you step by step, if you ask

yes sorry it softbricked my phone. im pretty i can consider being unable to boot into recovery and needing odin a softbrick

but has anybody else had trouble flashing this rom? it seems everyone has found a way to get it flashed but me...

Take your battery off and put it back boot into recovery then try to restore a backup when flashing this rom flash the 1.0 version first then upgrade to 1.0. 4

dont go from 1.0.0 to 1.0.4 as it is only a small patch upgrade (to help people from having to download a huge file and me to upload them)

1.0.3 is the latest to install dont wipe unless it suggests to. if you dont have a rom installed already it will fail

no matter what i try it will not boot into recovery anymore. im still downloading the tar for odin on my slowa$$ home internet

first it was blank screen bootloop with 1.3

then sonic bootloop with 1.3 then 1.4

then it was "KERNEL EMERGENCY SOMETHING" with 1.1 then 1.2

and now its stuck on galaxy sIII screen with 1.1 only and now it wont even boot into recovery. only download mode I have no idea why this is happening to me. I am using TWRP should i do cwm instead??

the best way to go about all this is flash some otehr rom boto up and make sure everything is going fine, reboot to recovery. do a factory reset in recovery. install 1.0.3 reboot and then install 1.0.4

between each new flash i was able to restore my original stock setup with a nandroid. until this last time where i couldnt load even recovery. im guna give this another shot after i run odin and all that and ill see what happens

Remember to only do factory reset when flashing 103. Dont wipe system. Also let it boot, theres no bootanimation in 103 so all youll see for a bit is black screen.

This is what I did install the version 1.01 let it boot then go and install the update 1.0.4 or 1.0.3 but before that after I made my backup I wipe all including system and then flash the first version and no problem

I think 103 has a script that requires there be a system already installed when u flash. So dont wipe system when flashing 103. Only factory reset.

Flash 103 let it boot. If it dosnt boot pull the battery and let it boot again. Once you get 103 booted, flash 104.

Ok, I successfully flashed 1.0.3 and 1.0.4, everything is running great but now I have some photos in my gallery that I can not delete, there is no option to delete. If I take a new pic, there is the option to delete. Is the any way to to delete this old pics?

Go in with es explorer or some kind of file explorer.

Make sure its not an issue in ur area.
Try rebooting the phone.
try turning on airplane mode wait a sec and back off, this turns off ur radios.
Try a factory reset.

Im having gallery issues too.

Exactly...I connected phone to PC and searched folders but cannot locate pics. I just want to get these off my phone.
