slim version has problems, it has been pulled, as to your phone, have you checked for hardware problems?
unless there is a phenomenal amount of user error there just seems to be too many issues with it.

on shabby slim the dedicated home button wont work and also the camera button wont open the camera. it will work tho to take the picture. those are the only 2 problems i have found. but i find it to run much smoother than the loaded one. besides how much longer can it take for 1.0 to come out?

Use ShabbyMod 0.9 Loaded, for now until 1.x comes out.

My Review: "ShabbyMod is the S*****". I know I used 5 stars instead of 3, but it deserves 5 stars.

Install Clockwork Mod Recovery and do a Full nandroid backup of your phone before you do anything.

After you install Loaded, you can install Titanium Backup to remove some of the stuff that you do not want. Or, before you install it you can edit the batch file and remove them before they ever hit the phone. Just be careful, in either case. There are plenty of threads going over what is safe to delete or just ask before you do.
