Shared photo albums

I erased my girlfriend from all the albums we shared. Now we are back together. I've tried sharing albums with her again. It says that she has been invited on my end, but she doesn't have the option to join. Is there something I need to do in order for her to be able to accept my invitation? Can anyone help?
