Help Shazaam App NOT free?? Only a trial?

Ok so I have had Shazaam on my iPhone for a long time. I love the app! My gf downloaded it on her original Droid as well.

I just pulled it up today and noticed it says it's only a trial version and I have to pay for the full version on the DX...is that true? Why isn't it free on the X??

wow they just did that.

"If you've used Shazam on your phone prior to 13 Jul 10, you're still entitled to unlimited tagging"

It's 5 tags per month now on the free app. Though I'm pretty sure thats the same plan they implemented on iTunes a while back. =/

I don't tag over 5 per month anyways. If it's gonna become a pay app, I'll pay Sound Hound. Much faster, more information available, just better all around. And I think SHs 5 free tags carry over month to month. Went from 5 to 7 on Eris once, that's the only reason I could figure.
