    I logged into my Bank account and set up email alerts for transactions > $300.

    Now if Google charges my acct, I'll know immediately. :D

    Good idea! I set up UPSmychoice alerts, so if Google sends a shipment via UPS to my address, i will know.

    wtf does that matter?
    they owe NO ONE any explanation. if we weren't living in the digital era, you wouldn't even know that stores received it.
    it is not even mid-July yet.

    and if it goes past mid July and you still haven't received it, feel free to take your money elsewhere if you are that mad at google.

    I decided to check my purchase history on previous devices I've ordered from the Play Store to see what happens in what order. Looks like the very last thing they do is charge your card, so you might see a shipping email first. (I can't be sure as this is the first device I've ordered from them as a pre-order though.)

    If you order the case with the 16GB model, it can put you over the $300 mark. What is the $12 number you quote though? I've got $13.99 for shipping and $19.88 for taxes for myself.

    Yes, it's a 16 gb + case.

    I ordered w/o a case, cancelled and reordered with a case.

    Now I found a nice leather case, which should be here tomorrow.

    Confused. They're shipping it out from them Monday is what you said correct? If that's the case, then with 2 day shipping, isn't Wednesday the earliest?
