I am porting my number and placed my order on 19th. My order staTus hasn't changed from "being reviewed" what the hell does that mean?

I already have a line I am financially responsible for and added a line to that and ported my number. I know my credit is perfect. Maybe I'll call and ruffle some feathers.

UPDATE: I called VZW and they said I am all good to go and it will ship on the 27th. I verified i have overnight shipping which means i'll get it on the 28th! Woot!

Just a FYI the box in the picture was the box given to those blog websites to review the phone. The box changed with it's actual name for its release and was confirmed by various blog sites. Don't believe the faker.

An e-mail I received today regarding early shipment from VZW.

Dear xxxx,

Thank You for contacting Verizon Wireless, we appreciate your business. We apologize for any inconvenience regarding the delay in shipping your Internet Order Number 12345. Our records indicate that we received your pre-order for the HTC Incredible and your order is in our que for processing. We process each internet order in the same order as we receive them and do not give special treatment to some customers to the exclusion of others. We are unaware of any pre-ordered phones that have been shipped from our warehouses with preferential treatment. Unfortunately, the new phone is scheduled to begin shipping from our warehouses on 4/27/10, (but could be as early as 4/26/10). Our plan is to have all our pre-orders for the HTC Incredible shipped to our customers addresses by 04/29/2010.

We thank you for your patience in this matter and we sincerely appreciate your business.

Although this is good news for everyone who has gotten phone today, that spells trouble for the people who thinks will get it on the 29th. If you ordered it on the 19th and got it today, 21st, that's not next day delivery. That's 2 day fedex delivery. We won't get phone on the 29th, it could be 30th or even may 3rd (Monday) if it ships on the 29th!!!!!

I ordered mine online on Sunday 18th at 11:35pm et, and selected 2day fedex shipping for free!!

I JUST found out that DannoVB got one when he emailed me to ask about setting up his enterprise email (he and I have the same job in our area.) My wife is so bummed - she's dying to get hers like, yesterday.

First, I have to set this up. I work for a German company [here in Virginia], so our out-bound web servers are routed through the IT "home office" in Germany. Some US sites dont like this because my IP says im not in the US (Amazon and Buy.com wont let me "check out" even though I log on as "me" (10 years of use and thousands of dollars spent), and have same US shipping and billing address as always).

Ok, so I pre-ordered yesterday, from my computer here at work. 15 minutes later, the order got canceled. Of course I can guess what the issue is as it happens all the time. I called Verizon's fraud hotline (listed in the cancellation email) and explain the situation. The rep verifies all my info and says that she will "reinstate my order and email me a tracking number". I said; ok, thank you, goodbye. Sure enough, two hours later, I got a tracking number.

Maybe she didnt realize that the phone was not released - or maybe because I had also ordered some accessories (that were released) that my order wasnt an obvious "pre-order" (to her) - or maybe she released the order due to my inconvenience. Who knows? I got a phone.

Guys, my incredible just arrived. I'm at work and my wife sent me an email with a pic. She is actually on her way to my office right now to bring it to me! I've been talking trash all day to my iphone fanboy coworkers. They are about to be drooling!

Ordered mine on the 19th got the email notification that day, incredible landed on my front door at 5:30 april 20th. Its a verizon mistake, maybe. Think about it, if verizon mistakenly sends out some incredibles then more people will see it hands on before the launch date and make the demand go up.

Lol glad I could help. Yeah that sucked bad. I asked 4-5 times to make sure it was the Incredible. Oh well. Hey just a thought what if they released some early just to get more orders from BB since BB one upped them on the 18th pre-order date. Just a thought. If so BB it's your move lol

ok, phone fully charged at 2 playing with it and setting it up, battery just died 4:15....just letting everyone know. it was searching for a signal between 3g and 1x in my office, havent seen that as much with my tour I am coming from.....did *228 twice to make sure it was all updated....we will see after playing with it tonight, i will try a normal day of use tomorrow and see how it holds up. but the 7 home screens thing is awesome, only took me a while to figure out how to customize them...blows my blackberry out of the water!

I would've gladly gone through the effort of mailing my rebate in if I had known that it could mean I would've gotten my phone early like some of the lucky ones.

I work in a casino, and if my storm is left on while switching signal like that, it dies in 2.5 hours, and thats in my pocket, might have to turn the radio off at work! i have to..
