Root SholesMod Battery Pulls

I have been getting quite a few Blank Screen's daily, Cant do nothing with the phone. Have to pull the battery, I feel like i have a BB again. Is anybody else having any issues with this build. Nothing has changed on the phone, no new apps, running OC at 800/250. I guess it is time to update to the latest and greatest.

Mine was doing this with with droidmod 1.0 and some MM theme i put on the phone. I finally took the theme off and all is well. Oh and it seem to get worse after i changed my clock color.

had this on bb 2.01 versions. updated to latest ere and i havnet had this problem the whole day. we'll see in a week if it comes up.

Kind of weird that it would just start happening, I had run this for a couple of weeks without an issue. The only thing i can think of is one of the apps that i am running updated. I will see what i can come up with tonight, Start going back and seeing what app is causing this.

had the same thing happen on my droid. i dl meta morph and a few themes to try out and that`s when it started for me. finally reinstalled the dmod and all is well...for now. (running droidmod v.1 oc to 800)

This is word for word what happened to me. I want to try another theme but dont want to mess with all the lock ups.

Well i just decided to Upgrade ROMS to The new Smoked Glass, seems good so far. We will see if it takes care of the battery pulls.

I have never had to pull my batt on any SM or DM Roms.

I just had this happen to me today as well, and I haven't used any Metamorph themes in a couple weeks. I'm thinking it's one of the 20 or so updates I got earlier this week...

I had some issues on the first install and after a few battery pulls I decided to reflash the ROM. Once I did that I have not had one.

This is word for word what happened to me. I want to try another theme but dont want to mess with all the lock ups.

I guess I'm the third with this problem, my Gallery, and camcorder function seem to randomly crash the entire phone and sometimes require a battery pull, this is right after using a MM theme.

I had that issue about a month back, but it was a few buggy themes, after changing them all was well so I just went ahead and uninstalled them.

Well, I upgraded and have still continued to have issues with rebooting. I think possibly, not sure but i did not do a full wipe of data. I now have done a full wipe, and things are much smoother. Time Will tell.

I upgraded to the new BB today and all my problems went away.

The Sholes Team had a big legal issue with the person who made the SholesROM Updater not giving them the money for the Donate verison of the app, so they started over again and called it DroidMod.

You can head over to http://droidmod.org/ and download the DM Updater APK file for free and update to DroidMod 1.0.
