Hello! My device, Galaxy S6 got this app 2048KG. I didn't downloaded it. The nature of the app is it can't be deleted, you can't find it in Settings>Apps, and when im on WiFi some ads suddenly appears on my screen. So I searched the web and so after concluding download Stubborn Trojan Killer app. But then nothing happens. Is there any other way to destroy this malware/Trojan virus thing? Thank you forum!

Factory reset should fix it. But you will lose photos music, videos and documents unless you back them up to an external SD card.

I'm pretty sure the trojan virus gets root access and sets itself in the system partition. If that's the case a factory reset will not resolve it. Have you tried Smart Switch?

Never tried thou. But all necessary files/data are all transferred, so the phone is ready to be factory reset. But what if Factory reset won't work also?

That's where Smart Switch comes in. It should help you flash the stock firmware. That will wipe the system partition as well.

Thank you! The Trojan is no more. Unfortunately, a new problem appeared. My SD card is damaged, says to reformat it-and I did. But when device is restarted, the problem resurfaced.

It may have been corrupted. Can you remove it and see if the computer will recognize it?

Oh, you mean your internal storage?
Now might be time for a cache wipe.

Yes, the "sdcard" is like a partition of the internal storage. I will try that cache wipe. Pls do tell me how.

What does the error you are getting read?
Could you provide some additional details. Start with the full model number Settings>About Phone. The Baseband and also the last 7 digits of build number if different.
