I placed an order for a Note 7 on the Samsung site on Friday and haven't got a ship notification yet. Should I cancel this and get the International Version on pre-order @ B&H?

Is there any benefits or disadvantages (both hardware and software) when compared to a carrier locked device (AT&T in my case)?
Just from my initial research I saw no bloatware but the phone will get updates way later than carrier based devices. Also there could be a lack of VoLTE (?)

This is my first Android device and switching from iOS/iPhone 5S so any insight would be appreciated. :)

I went with the Note 7 because my iPhone 5S broke and I am back to my 5 for the time being.

    Probably worth checking compatibility here..

That will certainly tell you if it's OK for 2G, 3G and 4G. If there's anything AT&T specific, that international versions likely won't have, that's another matter.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was launched in 2016, before subsequently being removed from production over battery issues.
