Help Should I root my NEW oneplus 3t?

I have a oneplus 3t right next to me (BAEEEEEEE, much faster+no lag then my s7 (selling here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/322399268516?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 ). But i am curious for your guy's opinion. Is it true that it does not void the warranty (friend told me this), or is it worth it at all. I have no MICROSD CARD SLOT for link2sd. I have enough ram enough storage and all. What is ur opinion.
Root Oneplus 3t With 1 yr still there, or NO. Plz explain.
