I have decided to upgrade to a Froyo ROM about 3 times and everytime I decide not to pull the trigger. For Skyraiders new rom I have to install the Leaked OTA Radio, but there is a warning (below) that I may not be able to upgrade to a different radio later or something so I don't want to be stuck.

Waring msg "Everyone should know that if you apply this update and VZW changes the radio in the official then you probably won't be able to upgrade your radio to it."

If I wait for the Official Froyo Update that should come within the next week or so, would that make me more flexible with the installing custom ROMs?

Dont use the stock leak. Grab someone's cooked rom that is fixed. Too many issues with stock leak.
