Yeah me too but sometimes it drops off the first page of this board and can take a while to find.

i would want this if there was a proper screenshot app that works on unrooted phones. At the moment you have to do it the SDK way which I am really not assed to do.

It's a good idea, but flawed.

If you're going to post up your homescreens, at least list the icons, widgets and background you use otherwise it'll just remain cluttered with posts like "what icons are those?", "where did you get that wallpaper?".

You'd have thought those posting up new screenshots would have the intelligence to be doing that by now.

No. It's dead easy to find. It never gets further back than a few pages and we already have plenty (too many) stickies. They should be for answering questions that are overasked etc.

It's actually quite easy to take screen shots without rooting. Check the "Show us your Homescreens" thread and on page 1 or 2 there's a post by Lekky that links to the instructions. As Lekky says, it's a bit fiddly to set up for the first time, but when you get a few bits of software installed to can take screen grabs with just a few clicks. I set it up at the weekend and it wasn't as complicated as I expected.

The chatter can be quite useful, I leaned a lot about the apps and widgets from the thread.

I voted no. Two reasons for that. :)

    1) One's preference for home screen layout is bound to be very subjective, and I personally find it a bit of a niche topic (I have a single background on it that I like and that I never change, and I use the screen real estate for a calendar and a bunch of application launchers, nothing else).

    2) I agree with all four of Dan's staments here:

I voted "yes". It's a helpfull thread for people looking for ideas on how to decorate there homescreens.
You can find great widgets, wallpapers, icons etc from other people posting.

I found ALOT of usefull apps I wouldn't have found otherwise.
