Should we/you be paying for AT&T 4G if the Backhaul Isn't On Yet?

    For those who aren't grandfathered-in with unlimited service, and have to pay for tiered service, should you be paying for a service that isn't turned on yet?

    I'm no lawyer... but being billed for something that doesn't exist yet has some legal consequences, no?

    You are paying the same price as you would for 3g, and they are giving you 3g right? So stop worrying about 4g so much.

    Only part of your post that really made sense to me :rolleyes:

    I could understand if they were actually charging you extra for 4g that wasn't there BUT you are paying the same amount you would for 3g silly :p

    Hellz no!!! I'm grandfathered into unlimited but any new customers should be getting free 3G for life... at least you clarified your not a lawyer...

    Its called the Motorola Atrix 4g. If you arent delivering 4g, theres a problem.

    There isn't a carrier in US that hasn't begun advertising an upgraded data speed and been able to provide it to more than just a very small percentage of its subscribers. That's just the reality we now live in.
