when i shut my phone down, i get the screen:

    clockworkmod recovery v.2.5.0.1

then it gives me a menu:
    -...
    -...
    etc., etc.

i recently rooted it, so i think this is why it is showing up. what do i do, and how do i get rid of this?

    thanks!

Yes, you are right, and that is why it shows up. I'm sure that you figured out that all you need to do is just tell is it to select the reboot option. You may want to use the clockwork mod to install apps or to get ride of the footprints app.

when i tell it to reboot, it only re-starts it up. i want it off.... is this just what comes with the root? and i heard that you should not uninstall the apps., and rather change the extension since you can't really download them anywhere else.... any idea on how to do this? and how do i uninstall apps.?

and what is the "apply sdcard:update.zip"?
