    My First question is

    1. How do I know if i am on the right software and all that good stuff?
I am unlocked and running the latest Harmonia Rom

    2. Next question is when i do the following directions and try to run Commandbear i get this message
    [IMG]

It's not recognizing my phone and i downloaded the drivers for windows like it said on evohacks but idk what to do with them lol.

So i am lost already before beginning :D

    3. Last question is this wire good enough for the wire trick? I cut a cord up

Not unless you remove the insulation around the wire! on both ends (1/8 inch should be plenty).

use this as a guide to the s-off but fallow the insturctions. your wire should be fine. as long as part of the insulation is removed. You are basically shorting out the phone. I used a paper clip, after grounding my self to ensure against static electricity.

it took me about 20 times to get it right because i wasn't holding it down after the first tap. GOOD LUCK

For the last time people, you are NOT shorting anything on the phone instead what you are doing is taking a pull down resistor low by grounding it to the sd card frame. Which forces the phone into a pseudo engineering boot that then allows us to do devious things to our phones.

Isn't that shorting one lead of the resistor to ground?

No, technically a short is an is an uncontrolled path to ground for current to flow, this is pulling one lead of a tri state resistor low. This is meant to happen as this is a logic device, we're just telling it to do it during an unconventional situation. There is no uncontrolled current flow involved.

I thought I was just supposed to wear shorts when I did it.
