Signal Booster?

Is there an inexpensive way to get my t-mobile call signal to work inside my house? Ever since I moved into a first floor apartment I haven't been able to make any calls with just the mobile signal I recieve. I have to turn on WiFi to make calls. I'm looking for something around $100 USD or lower. TIA

If you are a postpaid customer you can dial 611 and T-Mobile will supply a free signal booster. I've had one for several years.

Whats wrong with wifi calling? I use it all the time and rarely have issues. Only problem is when I have a weak wifi signal but that's something I can't control.

There's nothing wrong with WiFi calling. My issue is what happens when the power goes out. When the power goes out my WiFi is down and my cordless phones don't work. I'd have to go outside to call someone if there were an emergency. I'd like to avoid that during these cold winter months.

Most signal extenders/boosters require a powder source anyway. If it didn't need any additional "umph" you wouldn't need the booster

We use signal boosters at work for Sprint and Verizon and AT&T. They all run through the network using data cable. Meaning if you lose power first of all the signal booster won't work unless it's on battery backup.. and second of all unless your network is on battery backup it still won't work.

Yes that is one thing I dislike about all the cell boosters I have read about. They use your home internet connection if your cable is out your cell is too.

T-Mobile units are true signal booster/repeaters. They do NOT use an internet connection.
