Help signal color and google servers

I was looking up how to something on my phone for my computer since I kill it. While getting info on how to fix it and i hit a link that has a large file. So I killed the download to my phone since then my signal has been white instead of blue. All of my research says that Blue means data connection is active and synchronized with Google servers. which great but how do you change it back so it is active and synched?
