I love the phone but in places where I used to get almost full bars on my blackberry i get maybe 1 bar, especially in my house which is annoying. Could I have gotten a defective one? Anyone else having this problem?

If you're relying on the meter, I've found it to pretty much be useless. Much the same issues, so I no longer rely on it.

When I unlock my phone I have almost full bars then it drops to one, so maybe its just the meter

I just picked up the incredible 2 and what a great overall device except for the signal strength. I no longer have service at home and compared to the 4 other phones in my home the dinc is always 6 to 15 dbm's higher than the other devices. I have a trouble ticket open with verizon and waiting for the results.

are you actually experiencing data loss or dropped calls? or are your reports of signal issues about the lack of bars? i regularly show 0-1 bars with no issues of data loss or dropped calls, so i've decided not to care about that bars.

I have lost calls and complete data outages. I dont look at the bars I look at the DBM's and phone for phone in my home there is a large difference.
