So, the 2.1 keyboard that's included with a lot of the ROMs has the voice dictation feature. They decided to stick the key for it right where the comma used to be, right? I could've sworn there was a comma there before.

It's been driving me crazy too, because I like to punctuate my text messages. Anywhere I can snag the APK of the 2.0.1 keyboard? The voice dictation is spotty anyways, I sent a text yesterday that said this:

"Absolutely man, come on over if you want a man of our lady of the leading job in a minute."

Yes their is a way on when you have the keyboard open hold down the 123 key until a message pops up then choose Android Keyboard Setting and then uncheck Voice Input...
You can also just "swype" your finger across the keyboard to access the Voice Input if u want that an a comma

How does one exactly 'swipe' the keyboard for voice input? Because no matter how I do it, it just pops some letters up but never registers them or brings up a voice prompt.

The spelling and the quotes were important. It's the name of an app.

If you need the comma, slide the physical keyboard open and hold down the "x" for a count of three. Place the Droid on a table and spin it on its side, then loop your arm over your head and make a figure 8 in the air.
    Works every time.
