Sim Card Error?

Lately my phone has been going nuts. I am unable to make/receive calls/texts because my service goes completely out. My phone says that I do not have a SIM card in, but I do. I have to reset my phone, sometimes twice, in order to fix the problem. Anything I can do to fix this? New phone?

You could try another sim card, factory reset, if you're rooted and have the sdk tools flash CWM recovery then use the new radio tweak. If you already have that tweak reflash the radio tweak again. Could be a app causing a issue but I wouldn't think so busybox, etc.. root apps could cause issues possibly.

This happened to me once during the premier of the walking dead, was txting away with some friends about the show.

got "No Sim Card" or something similar to that, and my phone rebooted right after that!
