Root sim card swap

I'm giving my rooted esteem to my wife soon. Can I just swap out her sim card to my phone without going to metro? Or do I have to unroot and have them swap it out? And how would i be able to transfer her contacts, email, etc. and delete my stuff if I can just swap sim cards?

Sim has nothing to do with that.
You have to take your account off of the phone and out her account on it. Just as if you were selling the phone to someone.
Depending if she is already coming from an android phone just have her sync everything to her account so when she signs back into the esteem everything will comeback.
If you want to wipe everything you have on the phone just re--flash the rom your using and it'll be back from scratch.

You can just dial *228 and transfer her number to that phone.

Edit make sure you call tho not her

the UICC card is not interchangeable

gsm sim card are not uicc card like pg said u cant interchange them.
