Help Sim Free/ Unbranded Firmware

Hi guys, Im looking for an official sim free firmware for my Galaxy S3 i9300. Ive downloaded two or three of what I thought was true unbranded roms but they have been branded. Also a lot of links I have found have been linked to Hotfile which has been taken down. Just need pointing in the right direction. Not interested in rooting at this time. Thanks in advance guys any help with this will be very much appreciated
 
bigcol, you'll have to register (use any old email address), but SamMobile do all the latest official firmwares.

Firmwares | SamMobile

Once registered the latest BTU (UK,official non branded, SIM free firmware) can be downloaded from this link :

Firmwares | SamMobile | Page 3

You'll download it as a .zip file. You'll need to extract the .tar.md5 file and flash it using Odin PC with a Windows PC.

I found these but the download times are horrendous. 5 hrs :(. Im on a 70mb connection aswell Grim :(

Maybe someone will download and put it on dropbox or something for you if you ask nicely mate.
I would but im on 2mb/s 3g lol :beer:

I must be feeling generous, downloading it now and I'll stick in my drop box. bigcol should be able to download it pretty quick.

I'll repost when done.
 
Ive got drop box and google drive accounts so if I can upload any, I will and will make them available for anyone else
 
Bigcol, be careful with drop box of they get wind of you sharing files they throw a wobbly. I get away with it due to it being a business drop box account through work.
 
Is this 4.3 fw safe and bug free. I've read so many sob stories here about 4.3 ******* up people's phones! Im scared to do it..

The one in my drop box link is the very latest 4.3 for an SGSIII (GT-I9300). I believe there had been more than one 4.3 update since it was first released. My sister and sister in law both have updated to it (OTA both their phones are stock SGSIIIs) and report no problems with it.

I think you have to try it, but sadly there is no going back to 4.2.
 
Amazing just how much excess baggage and s**t we dont need or want gets bundled into offical firmware. I was going to hold off rooting my GS3 but, what the f**k, Im good to go. Im looking for a nice decent but stable rom without all the added on crap of official roms. What you guys suggest??
 
TW based: Salesale's Neat ROM lite. Completely debloated, but Stock ROM. Comes with an Aroma installer to customise too. Not only that but he's one of the most helpful and friendly developers out there. I only wish he had a Note 3.
