Hi my mother has just bought a sony ericsson xperia x10 mini pro 2nd hand which is locked to tmobile only she wants to be 3! I have scoured the internet for a free calculator that I can just pop in the IMEI and it will give me a code that works. I have even tried a few sites but they have said there is no code! and asked me to plug the phone into my laptop which I did but the program xs++ couldnt communicate with the phone! I have seen a couple of sites that state they can provide a code for this phone but are asking for

There is no free way to unlock this device.
If you try the free online calculators, it is going to give you wrong codes and you are going to end up hard locking your phone.
