I just found an app, Sixaxis Controller, that allows me to to control my tablet using a PS3 Controller. The idea is incredible, but Im having a very difficult time understanding how to map it out, and how it response to certain apps. So, for the most basic of tasks I want it to control general tablet home functions. The desired key mapping is as follows: directional buttons go through the apps on the home page, L1/L2 toggle home pages, X - selects highlighted app, O - goes back, and maybe Square - is the home button and Triangle - idk... screenshot or something. But I cannot figure out how to designate what button does what for a home screen. Also, "Toggle profiles"... Is that used when switching from app to app and app to home, or even app/home to keyboard function? Is there any way to set it up where if Im on a home screen and click on an app like angry birds, that it will automatically know what profile (key mapping) to use, be able to switch to the internet, click on an empty search field, have the keyboard come up and select keyboard characters, then switch to netflix all with the PS3 controller? or do I have to manually go to the tablet, go into Sixaxis Controller, and switch profiles for every app and submenu of each app? I keep finding tutorials on how to set the key maps to angry birds, moder warefare or whatever... thats all good and fine, but Im not finding a tutorial that explains how the profile system works, or if the system automatically registers what profile it needs to be in once designated. Please please please help. this could be a monumentally incredible tool for me, but Im not having any success in my experiments or trying to find info online.
