Have installed it and so far seems to be working fine
Yeah no complaints from me either. Its running nicely on Cyanogenmod.
Beta6 now out
It was Beta 2 when I left this morning!
Will leave this while I boil an egg and then install Beta 15 when I finish.
Hey go check out the larger icons thread we have sussed out your true identity Bah hah ha
I flashed beta2 yesterday, so typical.
*sigh* more flashing tonight!
I tried 2.0 beta 6 for a few hours tonight but didn't find it as snappy as 1.8 with my ROM. There was a definite lag for me.
I've been very happy with beta2 so far. Just as quick as 1.8 and with a couple of fun tweaks.
It seems good so far auto calibrates battery now n fast before screen seems faster n more responsive
I'll get around to trying beta8 tonight (or 9, if that's out by then )
Beta8 is out
glad I'm not the only one. very laggy for me too.
Try beta 8 it won't be long now till 2.0
I've not bothered with these v2 betas since beta 1 that erased my boot animation and reinstalled cwm 5 so I'll be sitting these out until an official v2 release rolls out.
I might even go back to nimph for the time being now that I'm on dlevrom
is now out
v2.0 proper is now available.
On revolution on Siyah 1.8, overnight drain would be 1% - 2%
On DlevROM it would be 4% - 5%
I'll see what the drain is on DlevROM with Siyah 2.0 tonight.....
Beat me too it
DlevROM drained faster than MoDaCo GR1 using 1.8rc2. Back to MCR_GR1 with v2.0rc2 last night and after 19h+ still have 65% capacity. Will install the v2.0 release later once I've slept (currently "overseeing" the Galaxy Nexus release event discussion, for my sins)
My battery drained 7% last night with Siyah 2.0. And this is with minimal wakelocks, so not sure exactly how its going down as much as this.
I'll be giving the new CheckROM/Revolution KI8 ROM a go when this comes out over the next day or so, and I'm tempted to either stick to nimph or Siyah 1.8
I'll see how 2.0 performs over the next day or so before making my mind up.
v2.0 comes with CWM recovery v18.104.22.168
This worries me slightly as this was considered unstable a week or so ago. Does anyone know if its problems have been fixed?
The one great plus point of this CWM version is its ability to install a .zip from external sd card.
I've been able to do that for a while
They must have been, as it's backed up and restored successfully for me several times now. As previous stables used v.4.0.x.x I take it that the inclusion of v5.0.x.x means it's considered 'release ready'.
That's a function of the recovery and not the app, and my #1 reason for wanting v5.0.x.x on the handset.
My overnight battery stats
0% drain over 7h 37mins, I didn't even think this was possible? I thought Ninphetamine was good
you must have left your charger plugged in butty!
but seriously, i dont put my phone in flight mode overnight, and keep wifi on (but set to sleep)
But this is how I always leave it overnight, but mine was poor in comparison to v1.8
Haha then it would show a green bar under charging
Yes V2.0 beta 8.
