Skype for Android does not appear to have Video on my Asus EeePad. Is this correct ?
From my experience... no...
I don't have video using Skype on my TF. If I'm missing something please inform.
mbob63. for info Skype is a FREE Talk/Video program that enables you to speak to contact around the world completely free.
I use it daily on my PC to speak with friends in New York & San Francisco.
The PC version has Video option but as yet the Android version of Skype does not.
Thank you gwc17 for the information. I use Skype on my PC and phone also. I thought the previous response to mine was indicating that video would work on the TF. You confirmed my current experience.
no video with Skype on either the TF or my phone. I don't think any of the Android Skype versions have video yet, but could be wrong about that.
Its been released today, skype for android
Has anyone tried GrooveIP on this? I'm thinking of buying one and that would be a nice perk.
GrooveIP works with the transformer. Its pretty good as the buttons are MASSIVE on the tablet. But you need to adjust your audio settings when you first use it because you can barely hear the other person
I emailed Skype Support this morning...here's their reply.
