    I am getting the same response. Currently running the first 2.1 Leak. I wonder if any of our friends running 1.5 would be successful. Rather disappointing.

    I have it for 1.5; I'm just installing it now.

    No WiFi calling, though.

    downloading it now with 1.5... this might be dumb but can someone explain to me what the benefit of this app is? I know u can do skype to skype calling without it going against ur plan.. anything else?

    You can IM as well. You can make international calls at Skype rates without counting against your Verizon minutes. And you can receive Skype calls, obviously.

    And another one bites the dust... Skype sold its soul to Verizon because only Android and BB devices in the VZW network can download the new Skype. Considering the legion of users Skype has, you'd think that they'd remain true to their customer. We Android users are left with a "LITE" version that does next to nothing... At least we have FRING and iSkoot while we wait for Skype to ultimately release the upgrade to everyone outside of the VZW network.
