    I was wanting to know do many people use slideme or not? If you dont know what this is it is like just like the market where you can get apps here are some pics

    does it have the same apps the official market does? I haven't heard of this til now.

    It seems most of the apps are the same but slideme has some that the market does have. I use both

    very slow, laggy, and im not sure how much i trust my purchases being made through it.

    for me it's just as fast as the market I have downloaded several times without any problems

    i purshased colorix, but i cant install, installer has to shut down, anyone with the same problem?

    using samsung spica with android 2.1

    I use it. Music Junk, the best mp3 downloader I've found, is on it.

    I'm the former founder of SlideME and did the client work on SAM, as well as all the mobile feeds. I just checked out the latest version (after 7 months of not using it). With all the content, it's gotten pretty damn slow and it did a lot of force closes on me when trying to scroll the list. I only designed it to handle 1K of apps, so I don't think the client can handle the current size of the market, which is over that.

    A few days ago, I also had a rather bad experience with the guy currently running SlideME. I uploaded an app to SlideME (AppFriend, which shares app info on Facebook) and he got pissed off, deleted the app, revoked my account and banned my IP from accessing their site, all without an explanation. This seems pretty extreme to me and in my view, shows a rather ugly side to SlideME, one that isn't very open.
