Slingplayer for Android released

    It's finally here! It says Slingplayer Classic (which I have) isn't supported, but I watched a Ytube video of a guy using one on his EVO, it functioned, just didn't appear to have all the bells and whistles. Going to have to give it a shot and see how it works on the Hero.

    I'm quite confused... what does it really do? is it like free tv on your phone once your buy... or something like that? o_O

    you buy a slingbox (hardware as well as software), connect it to an output of your cable / sat / pvr box and to your wifi. It then pipes whatever your cable etc is outputting to your phone and allows you to control it, changing channels, playing back, recording etc
