Hey everyone, I've had my Droid X for a few months, and I have loved the functionality and screen. However, recently, it's very buggy, locks up, and response times are ridiculously slow. Sometimes, I call someone, and I can never end the call because the screen won't respond. Other times, the phone shuts itself off completely and I have to pull the battery to get it to come back on. The touch keyboard has started locking up so I had to change the input method to swype. Finally, anytime I use Pandora or Slacker, the phone shuts off randomly. These are just a few of the problems I'm having.

I'm thinking of doing a factory reset on it or rooting it. Do you have any suggestions? If I do a factory reset, is there a good thread with instructions and tips on what to do?

I'm just super sick of the problems I'm having now.

    Thanks in advance!

    Jennifer

Yes. Try wiping the phone to see if things clear up.
I like to reboot my devices at least once a day...just me :)

    Thanks. I'll search for directions.
And, I am already inadvertently rebooting several times per day. :p
